About the project
The museum in Vyksa is part of the new industrial center – the Shukhov Park, located in the ex industrial site. After renovation, the engineering heritage facilities associated with Vladimir Shukhov will be moved here, namely the water tower built in the 20th century, and the dome of the roll workshop built in the 19th century.
The museum will tell about the civilization development through the prism of metal. The surviving sections of the walls of the ex blast furnace and casting workshops (18th century) will become important parts of the exposition.
