About the project
The planning and spatial concept of this project was affected by the town-planning situation, the site dimensions, and its location at the crossroads of Lermontov and Moskovskaya Streets, close to Museynaya Square. Compositional approaches and architectural details are typical for many of the historical buildings, located in the center of the city. Architectural solutions of the facades are close to Neoclassical style.

At the design stage, the building got a name of Petrine Passage, referring to Peter the Great attending Saratov, which is demonstrated in the façade decorations and images of Peter the Great on stained glass round windows. Key stones of arch stained glass windows of the ground floor feature bass-relieves of famous persons of Saratov. The entrance to the building is decorated with memorials to Turov and Zasekin, founders of the city.
