About the project
An interior design project for this 42 m² apartment in an old district of the city was ordered by the author’s friend. The customer wanted dark monochrome colors to prevail in the color palette and expected the layout to include functional zones she needed for work and leisure. Despite the limited budget, it worked like a charm. The sitting room was merged with the kitchen, but the bedroom was made private. Remarkable old brick masonry was discovered in the kitchen and the sun lounge, which they as is with some handmade painting. The furniture is highly functional, and there’s a special rack to store Soviet vintage porcelain.
