Project
Reconstruction of Lenin Street and Museum of Modern Art Project

Nomination
Best Student’s Architectural Project

About the Project
The project offers a district-wide solution for the area, which will ensure safety of traffic and pedestrian flows. The skyscraper will serve as a landmark and become a part of a three-building cluster, one of which – the museum of modern art – is designed in more detail.

The museum of modern art is a part of the safe car and pedestrian traffic system, aimed to maximize access to the museum for visitors. The building comprises an atrium. Although it has some modern style elements, the materials used and its scale as if take us back to the Soviet times. Moreover, the facades of the museum showcase the author’s understanding of contemporary art, which is achieved by means of parametric design.

Location
Tyumen, intersection of Lenin and Maurice Thorez Streets.
