About the project
The key function of the building is business, but it will also comprise certain public facilities, including a Machine Museum, a restaurant, a public terrace, a sight seeing sight with a view of the Smolny Cathedral. Different parts of the building have different number of storeys, which is (in particular) because of the old machine building workshop. The building runs around it and uses it to create the public space together with the walking path.
