Project
Rayonism

Nomination

Best Landscaping Project

About the project
The house is located in the village of Podstyopki on the outskirts of Tolyatti. The concept of the project is based on the ideas of Rayonism, a popular abstract art movement of the early 20th century. Perfectly straight lines of paths and buildings wouldn’t have been enough. The main goal was to try and find a balance, which meant taking advantage of the terrain and its natural elevations while making sure that the area looked manicured. In addition to the above, the customer is fond of contemporary design and minimalism.

In light of all these factors, the designer made a choice in favor of Rayonism – one of the forms of Avant-Garde art. Thus, the landscape is shaped by zigzag lines. The customer’s desire to have conifers as predominant plants was taken into account as well.

Location
Samara Region, Tolyatti, Podstyopki Village.
