Maguro sushi restaurant

Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Public Space

About the project
The restaurant interior features a harmonious equilibrium between modern approaches and traditional Oriental aesthetics. A perfect mix of wabi sabi and hygge is known as the japanordic style.
Grey quartz-vinyl resembling shale rock covers all of the interior — its floors, sections of the walls, and the bar counter. Austere geometric shapes and laconic layouts make the interior elegant and plain.
A palette with lots of warm light wood, exclusive designer lamps and wildlife elements here and there create a spirit.
The decorative panel inspired by Basho’s most famous haiku:
The old pond
A frog leaps in.
Sound of the water.
