Project
Micro-housing at Curonian Spit

Category
Best Project of Private Residence

About the project
This micro-house was designed for a competition where residences below 25 m2 were presented. The Curonian Spit is a perfect combo of all kinds of landscapes – the sea, the dunes, the tundra…
Climatic conditions of the site determined the architectural, spatial, and structural parameters of the house, which uses alternative energy sources.
The residence was designed for a couple of ornithologists, who study the life of grey herons. This place will be their workplace and their place for rest, which conditioned the area and the height of the rooms within.
