Project
Naval Glory Museum and Convention & Exhibition Center in the Isle of Forts Cluster

Category
Best Architectural Design for Museum

About the project
This Museum was established to implement two orders of the Russian President at once — the one about creation of the tourist and recreation cluster associated with the Russian Navy, and the second one about holding the 11th International Naval Fair in Kronshtadt. The building is located in the century-old artillery armories, which were carefully restored and readjusted for today’s use. In fact, their original brutal looks were preserved, just like the traces of time were.  The central exhibit is the first Soviet atomic-powered submarine — Lenin's Komsomol K-3. It has already been restored on the outside and is currently going through interior renovation.
