About the project
The designer studied a lot of similar projects, as well as ways of human dismounting into the aggressive environment of Mars. All of them utilize enclosures from local soil built by means of robots, or underground capsules, or capsules located in the caves.
This design comprises a sun radiance protection system based on the magnetic field. The inflatable modular systems have a spiral-shaped frame and is used to keep the enclosure up, as well as to ensure the astronauts’ safety. The inflatable systems with their frame can be compactly folded to fir into Elon Mask’s interplanetary transport system.
