About the project
The festival was established to engage even the very unconcerned citizens to the dialogue with contemporary art. From 1980, the ex Elmat plant used to produce electronics for the Soviet Union. At a certain point, they made magnets, LEDs, exhaust hoods and even furtniture. Its feature is that after renovation the working space has been retained here. Where a furniture shop used to be, an extensive contemporary art space was established. About 38 exhibition projects were exhibited there – from Russia, the CIS, and Equador.
