Mycelium House

Best Project of Private Residence

About the project
Mycelium House fuses the essence of a temple and the care of the soul through a Japanese approach — Wabi Sabi. The design embraces biophilia by integrating nature through a central circle, where a precious bonsai is the epicenter of a ritual of tranquility.
The house is a haven for rest, where concrete is combined with natural materials in harmony with the environment. Each space seeks the imperfect perfection of Wabi Sabi, celebrating the beauty of imperfection and the connection with nature. The trees are cared for with devotion, being an essential part of the environment.
Thus, this house becomes a sanctuary for the soul, where the circle of life is intertwined with being and love for nature, creating a space of serenity and connection with the world around us.
