About the project
The exhibition covers the history of arts in Leningrad, further renamed to St. Petersburg. The collection of the St. Petersburg Museum of Arts dated the 20th through 21st century embraces 4,000+ pieces: paintings, drawings, sculptures, ornamental arts, a variety of trends and styles — from social realism and underground of the 1960s-70s to experimental arts in 1990s, and the most advanced works from the turn of the 20th to the 21st century.
