Immortal Army. Letters from the front — national museum

Best Architectural Design for Museum

About the project
This is a pilot project of the museums intended for the Russian regions.  Every Russian town, village, and settlement sent men to the war, and every location needs a place to store the letters from the front — living memorials to those soldiers. These museums will connect all the locations across Russia both in terms of chronology and geography.

The open architectural layouts will help with flexible adjustment of the museums to the local Victory Parks. This way, the new facilities will be unique in every location and at the same time similar to one another and thus easily recognizable.

The shape of the building refers to the triangular form of the war letters.
