About the project
The Pole of Cold, a tourist cluster in Oymyakon will attract tourists from all over the world – mainly in winter, but available all the year round.

The design concept features ice, snow, a mythical bull, and polar lights: these images can be found in architectural facilities, hardscape pieces, navigation signs, and graphic design. The master layout of the village provides for some new public spaces and urban facilities both for locals and tourists, in particular, a multifunctional venue with a hotel, a restaurant, a museum and a park. Moreover, a park and a promenade with wooden flooring is designed at the embankment, along with a bath complex and a boating station.
