Oncology rehab

Best Project of Building or Facility by Student

About the project
While working on the project, the author interviewed some people that used to go into rehab after cancer treatment. The discovered that it is not just medical assistance that matters but also the environment and the socializing opportunities.
That is why the designed facility includes a walkway through the park. The center will comprise several blocks, including the treatment, the entertainment, and the sports one. The suggested living model is typical for villages and the country, where social relations are closer and tighter.
Many people feel like looking for spiritual support when they get seriously ill, and the answer to this is the sacred spot within the center, although it isn’t a religious building. Natural colors, textures, and forms here make the hospital seem less threatening.
