Project
Paramonov Warehouses — renovation

Category
Best Project of Public Space by Student

About the project
Paramonov Warehouses were built in the 19th century, but today they are hardly of any use for the city. The author suggests that one of the buildings within this industrial complex is renovated to house a museum telling about the architectural history of the Rostov Region. The second floor will be used for lecturing, and the third one – for a library. Atriums make the space look less encumbered.
In fact, the museum will connect the past and the present not only by the exhibits within, but also thanks to architectural solutions of the volume that houses it.
