About the project
The Municipal Museum is a department of the Yasnaya Polyana Museum, the Mansion of Lev Tolstoy. The exposition tells the visitors about local self-management experience in the Krapivna Country after the land reform in 1864.
The list of exhibits comprises everyday items, books, documents, photographs, and stamps from the Museum’s collection or donated to it. Some of the books on the municipality history were provided by the Tula Regional Universal Academic Library. Multimedia equipment in every hall can be used to demonstrate extra content.
