About the project
The quarter is located in the southwest of Vasilyevsky Island, on the territory of the Lenexpo exhibition center.
The inspiration for the appearance of the building was the seaport, as well as the motif of water itself. The bulging and sinking volumes are associated with light waves on the bay. The image is also inspired by the Vertical Forest residential complex in Milan and the House of Floating Trees in Riga.
The residential building faces the courtyard towards the water, towards the Gulf of Finland. The courtyard invites others to visit it. The cozy embankment along the facade, the landscaping on it, as if crawling across the building, represents the modern Gardens of Babylon. This residential complex contains seven sections. The building is cascadingly increasing floor by floor, starting from the embankment deep into the block. Each cascade roof is equipped with both a green terrace and a normal usable part. The roof areas in the center of the residential building are glazed winter gardens, where in each apartment owners can arrange a greenhouse or vegetable garden.
