About the project
The mission of the project is development of a working model of a culture and enlightenment venue in compliance with architectural, spatial, structural, and urban-planning demands. The radial layout is conditioned by the building’s location on the site. 12 storeys of the building are 3.6 m high each, and there is also an underground level. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of light to studios, intended for dancing, painting, pottery, sewing. The author has also designed a library, a greenhouse, a foodcourt, and leisure spots. Outside the building, there are zones for doing yoga, a children’s playground, small ponds, and recreation sites. In the center of the building, there is an atrium with four transparent elevators.
