Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Public Space

About the project
This proposal was inspired by the aircraft designed at the Tupolev Engineering Studio. The local terrain was used to create an extensive interior with the lobby smoothly connected to the passenger platform. The interior centerpiece of the platform are the light cylinders (or turbines). Over the staircase elevators, this element is represented as a funnel-shaped well made of innumerable quantity of plates that symbolize turbine blades. The TU-144 airplane model floats at the entrance, while the stained glass windows on one of the platform walls provide a vague view of the airport in the distance.
