Readjusting Wawelberg Banking House into 5-star hotel

Best Implemented Restoration / Reconstruction Project

About the project
Renovation of the Wawelberg Banking House and its readjustment into a into 5-star hotel took over 5 years. In the Soviet times, the listed banking house on Nevsky Prospect was used as an office, completely losing its layouts and interior finishing. After disassembly of all the elements built on later dates the facades and surviving interiors were restored. The ground floor currently embraces the reception, the haute cuisine restaurant, the restaurant in a courtyard, and the Big hall that used to be a banking operation venue and has become a concert and exhibition space. Higher floors house different types of suites, 77 in the aggregate. The building is provided with state-of-the-art engineering utilities and elevators. All the historical facades and original interiors have been restored.
