About the project
Today, surviving elements of the ex guest house in the mansion dating back to the early 19th century are in critical disrepair. The project provides for renovation and reconstruction of the building along with construction of a new block for the scholarly library. Besides traditional functions, the library with glazed reading halls, located at different levels, will include a regional history museum. The new block designed as a series of books and united with a cornice and a book-like flat roof will comprise a closed stack and administrative premises. The authors are willing to preserve every historical element, including the independent local ones.
