About the project
Rozeneh Villa is an attempt to create a kind of semi-introverted villa in the hot and dry climate of Iran with modern and contemporary answers. Keeping the air temperature constant in the indoor space in the conditions of extreme temperature difference between day and night and at the same time providing air circulation and insulation were the main challenges of designing this villa.
A porous shell defines the exterior form of the design. This shell provides protection against radiation and at the same time helps to store heat in the building wall during the cold seasons of the year. The house is oriented on the north-south axis and the interior space uses air flow in different directions.
In the wall of the building, direct radiation inside is prevented by using Fakhr and Madin bricks. The inner courtyard of the traditional Iranian architecture is also present here, opening towards the sky.
