About the project
The visit center was constructed at a unique reserved site, the only Russian and the highest (250 to 260 m) European sand barkhan.
The building is intended for reception of guests and their recreation, as well as for telling them about the history and evolution of the Dagestanian nature reserve, holding meetings and science conferences. The lobby with souvenir kiosks, adjoined by the conference hall, is combined with the exhibition venue.
The watchtower is the major highlight and a visual identification point.
