About the project (provided by the applicant)
This project is the author’s proposal to regenerate the abandoned and partially ruined site of the industrial factory in Brněnec. The new function implies that it will be a multifunctional entertainment venue with a museum. The remaining buildings and structures, and even the very site of the factory, once witnessed how many Jews avoided going to Nazi concentration camps and were saved by Soviet Red Army soldiers. The newly established architectural environment will use visual communication means to present its story to the world – a story of mercy, courage, and salvation.
