About the project
This development is located in Kronstadt. The site borders on the channel on three sides, and on the southern border, it is limited by the Gulf of Finland. The development comprises four minor residential clusters with inbuilt amenities, including a kindergarten and office premises at the ground floors, and a sea embankment, designed with a market and three residential blocks, projecting into the water. These buildings remind of multiple forts, located around the city, and close to them, at the embankment, a pontoon houses pier is designed.
Above the embankment, a pedestrian bridge is provided that will connect the new district with the historical center and the mall.
In the district, a strict hierarchy of passageways is planned: the main diagonal street and the sea embankment, its key transport corridors, are always open, whereas other passages are intended for pedestrian traffic.
The architectural solution provides for red brick housing, typical for Kronstadt.
