Shot at Dawn after Bukovchan’s Before the Rooster Crows

Category
Best Implemented Theatre Set Design

About the project
The setting is a Slovenian town occupied by Germans in 1944. 10 civilians of different age are locked in a basement, and they have to choose who of them will be shot at dawn.
Iron wheels pressing on these blameless people are a symbol of the Nazi death machine. In the end of the performance, the top wheel falls on the bottom one, and the mechanism comes to life.
