About the project
The project of SOKOL/FALCON school was designed in collaboration with students of Schetinin Lyceum as an educational experiment. The school comprises a training center with a nursery, and an observatory on a man-made hill, a library, a conference hall, a dance floor, a park and a headquarters, and is integrated into the surrounding landscape, as if mirroring eurythmics of the turbulent mountain river it stands at.
Children are in the spotlight here. They compile integrative courses on their own and then enhance them, teaching each other. In about three years they pass exams on the General Education program and are ready to enter higher educational establishments. The reinforced walking embankment offers a view of the White mountains and the river.
