About the project
Located in the growing town of Arraijan, to the west of the Panama Canal, this technological center has the purpose of bringing training in future technologies to the towns furthest from Panama City.
For the design of this building, both an analysis of the program and the topography of the site was made, it is the synthesis between these two analyzes that allows me to elaborate a morphology that responds to a theoretical approach of circulation and convergence in which the vertices they are transformed into classrooms that connect the nodes to create the convergence that makes up the common spaces where the interdisciplinary knowledge exchange of their users takes place.
The building rises from the ground at its vertices to give uninterrupted passage to the fauna of the area and the grazing of livestock from neighboring farms, it collects rainwater through funnels at the nodes, and an extensive roof of solar panels that guarantee to this building its sustainable autonomy.
