Project
SPRZA house

Nomination
Best Constructed Private Residence

About the project
SPRZA house is located in a mountainous context in Mexico. The property has an ecological reserve at the back borders, and in front it has a view of the city. The project respects the terrain and makes the views that exist both in front and in the back the most important.
Formally, it makes a volumetric analogy with the rocks that are in the contiguous ecological reserve. In this way, this house adapts to the slope of the land, seeking views and transforming its skin into flown elements and stone coatings.
The terraces and gardens are recurring in the house, although the architecture is presented as stellar, it seeks to be able to enjoy the spectacle of the nature through these open spaces. The project seeks to be the harmonic answer to the context´s beauty.
