About the project
Mustay Karim’s story “Taganok” (a small trivet in English) features four boys residing in a small Bashkir village in the Ural mountains. Habdulla, Aidar, Vazir and Yakup meed a local shephard Sharifulla who tells them a story about Kiramet – the largest mountain in the vicinity – dying. The boys decide to try and save the mountain.
From the very first minutes this bright performance enthralls the audience, presenting them the very minute particulars of the heroes’ feelings.
