Nestled within the forest, the library is conceived as a calm and open space for reading, contemplation and connection with nature. The architecture unfolds gently among the trees, creating framed views of the surrounding forest while allowing natural light and vegetation to become part of the interior experience. A warm wooden structure reinforces the sense of proximity to nature and creates a quiet, tactile atmosphere. Above, the roof takes inspiration from the curvature and lightness of a sheet of paper, folding and bending gently over the spaces below. This gesture gives the building a distinctive identity while echoing the library’s fundamental relationship with books and knowledge. The project seeks to create an immersive reading environment where architecture, forest and silence become one continuous experience.
