Une Papillon Airport

About the project

For many people, an airport is a synonym of ‘chaos’ because of all the transport and pedestrian flows there. If any element of the system fails, it can result in a catastrophe. The butterfly effect is an underlying aspect of chaos. It explains how a small fluctuation in one condition of a nonlinear deterministic system can generate a huge difference in the later outcomes.  The composition of this proposal is arranged by two functional units — arrival and departure that resemble a butterfly’s wings in plan.
