About the project
The Voronezh Opera and Ballet Theater’s functional and layout solutions are outdated, and it generally lacks space. The offered design concept suggests keeping of the original facades of the theatre and total overhaul of its internal layout and functional lining. To extent its area, an auxiliary block will be added to it.
To attract more visitors and enhance the theatre’s popularity, the ground floor will comprise an exhibition venue dedicated to the history of the theatre, along with a souvenir shop, a café and a restaurant. The gallery connecting the old and the new buildings will become a link connecting different functional zones of the theatre.
