About the project
The exhibition featuring the works by Mikhail Vrubel was the major art event of the year. The Tretyakov Gallery possesses the largest collection of his works, and that’s why they decided to act as a consolidator. 300+ works from 14 Russian and foreign museums were showcased at the 3 levels of the museums, 100 of them supplied by the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg).  This was the biggest event dedicated to this artist in the last 65 years.
