About the project
The designers talked to many graduates and their kids that studied at this school to learn what they wanted to change. We studied building layouts dating back to 1939 and discovered some unused door openings and lots of hidden niches. We used all of the openings to let in light to the corridors, and niches became windows to classrooms and navigation signs. Glass doors to classrooms make interiors more transparent and bright.
