About the project
The owner of the house is a keen traveler and he wanted the house to remind him of the time he spent in Thailand, Bali, and other exotic places. The project features a patio as its key element and uses a gallery to connect common and private areas in the house. It also offers its residents a great deal of autonomy, making it possible to exit the house from virtually every room.

The project uses one of the bureau's favorite technologies – timber framing. Large windows, clear proportions, no frills in decoration work together to create harmony between the architecture of the house, its interior, and the landscape.
