About the project
The proposed project is to design a Heritage center in Negombo which offers an opportunity to investigate issues related to culture and heritage in-depth and develop a meaningful architectural solution that adds value to the proposed aero city development in the context of Negombo.
The broader ambition of this project is Awareness and promoting the importance of aquatic heritage in Negombo while inspiring and engaging the local community by creating a platform for them to uplift their economy and to involve them in suppressing the threats and challenges for the aquatic heritage and aquaculture of Negombo. And creating and
entrance for visitors to connect with the functions which have been proposed from the 2030 development master plan by the Urban development authority of Sri Lanka.
