About the project (provided by the applicant)
The design site was located in Elizavetino Village, near the ex quarry. The quarry being not far from Russia’s major cultural center, the place is easily accessible by transport but doesn’t border on any big settlements, which makes it quite intimate.
The master layout provides for functional division depending on the terrain. The top level will be a production area closed to visitors. At the low level, there will be an exhibition center with beautified surrounding grounds. The architectural look of the place will be conditioned by the design site and its terrain.
