About the project
On the outskirts of Valle de Bravo, in the town of San Simón El Alto, a project for a house is being developed.
The particularities of the environment, the play of light and scales, hand in hand with a pure geometry that is characteristic of the typical cabin, allow us a volumetric exploration that responds to the conditions of the terrain. By reinterpreting the elements, we conceive this project as a contemporary cabin.
The program consists of a public area (living room, terrace, kitchen and services), under the double height generated by the gabled roof. This space extends towards the terrace, which as a deck integrates both moments, interior and exterior, in a harmonious way.
The private area consists of three bedrooms, two secondary ones on the ground floor and the main one on the upper floor, taking advantage of the height of the deck to create an intimate and cozy space.
