Best Implemented Façade or Interior Project Using Ceramics
About the project This country house in the Moscow suburbs is something like a traditional Russian izba, or hut, but complemented with some European elements. The interior is rich with Nordic, Provence, and English classic motives. First of all, they can be found in the kitchen and the living room, where the same colors are used. The ceramic panel featuring thistles is made as large-piece mosaics. A big fireplace in the living room has a ceramic ‘carpet’ in front of it - a combo of glazed and unglazed tiles. The fireplace is coated with the tiles designed as old bricks, and there is another decorative panel in the center. All the ceramic elements were made by Moshkoff Studios to the sketches by Ekaterina Kolegova.
