About the project
“Love the Marquez Style” won several prestigious awards at the Cherry Forest Festival.

The production is based on various books by Gabriel García Marquez. Its central theme is love, which changes the hero’s life, making it meaningful. The metaphorical stage design was created by Vladimir Arefiev. The stage is surrounded by wooden shutters, which create the atmosphere of sultry Colombia. The masks are intended to symbolize the movement towards youth through love. The flying newspapers with love stories illustrate how feelings influence the personality of the hero, who later becomes a star journalist. The production explores the human soul, celebrating all the achievements of the performing arts, including music and choreography.
