Best Implemented Apartment / Private House Interior Design Project
About the project (provided by the applicant) Vitaliy Bitiev, head of AZBUKADOM Studio, created a unique design project in a modern apartment in Saint Petersburg, embodying the aesthetics of Japanese minimalism and the freedom of space. The interior is based on the concept of emptiness and air. Minimalism is expressed through the absence of doors, separate rooms, and curtains, emphasizing openness and spaciousness.
The spacious living room is organized around a multifunctional sofa, setting the rhythm for the space. The central element is a home office with a transparent wall, allowing creative isolation while remaining part of the apartment’s overall energy flow. Special attention is given to details: hidden storage systems, discreet lighting, and built-in cabinets create a sense of harmony and tranquility.
The project aims to demonstrate the importance of a free approach to life, rejecting conventions and limitations. It reflects the inner freedom and simplicity valued by the clients, a young photographer-artist and a model-muse.
