About the project (provided by the applicant) The former Finnish factory is located on Sorvali Island near Vyborg, on the shore of the Banny Bay. The main goal of the project was to create an educational museum dedicated to the building and the island as a whole, which witnessed several historical periods (the Russo-Finnish War, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the formation of the Russian Federation).
An art installation called the “Arch of Wishes” is planned along the waterfront to attract visitors to the recreational area.
