Project Renovation of the riverside station in Ostashkov

Abouttheproject The magnificent riverside station at the Seliger Lake is currently falling to decay. It is a bright example of Soviet modernism, designed in the 1980s by Yuri Kogan. The appearance of the building features the shapes and dynamics of a river motorship, and the renovation project can revitalize the station and make it the local landmark. The style and color palette were inspired by the nature of the Tver Region, as well as the original red brick architecture of the town of Ostashkov from the 19th century, Brutalist architecture, and design of Soviet motor boats. The renovated premises will comprise an entrance hall, a waiting room, a ticket room, a café, a bar restaurant, a children’s playroom, and exhibition (VIP) room, and a terrace.
