About the project What if our workspaces worked as a cultural center? Not only creating new public spaces for the city, but also increasing employee performance by making the office experience better. Amazon Park is the Amazon headquarters in the Dominican Republic. With a design based on the nerves and cells of a leaf, the project works as a public plaza where users can meet, serving as a reference point for the community and adding value to the area where it is located. The double facade acts as a heat filter and natural light entry and ventilation, which we learned its importance during the Covid-19 pandemic. It has a series of buildings that are connected to each other through high-rise pedestrian bridges, fostering creativity with that connection between the exterior and the interior spaces. We believe architecture is art, expressed all over the project, especially with the main stairs, that work as a stair, as a piece of art and as hidden furniture, adding even more to the user experience.
